April 2009: UO Announces JD/M.B.A. in Sustainability
A new curriculum innovation was announced at the Sustainable Business Symposium held on April 3rd in Portland. Students who are interested in pursuing a cross-disciplinary focus in the field of sustainability may now undertake a concurrent JD/M.B.A.—one of the few of its kind in the United States. This concurrent degree allows students to complete both programs in four years rather than five. Offered by the School of Law and the Lundquist College of Business, this new program continues to demonstrate how the University of Oregon is well positioned at the epicenter of creative innovation and leadership in green business. Students concentrate their MBA program in Sustainable Business and then select from either Environmental and Natural Resources Law or Green Business Law.
