Finance and Accounting Welcome Three New Faculty Members
The Securities Analysis Center is pleased to welcome three new professors to our excellent faculty:
Ekkehart Boehmer, Professor of Finance - Ekkehart comes here from Texas A & M University where he was the Associate Professor and Mays Research Fellow. He received his Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Georgia. Ekkehart is an expert on microstructure in financial markets. His research includes studies of information transmission through corporate share repurchases, short sales, as well as information linkages between equities, options, and bonds.
Sith Chaisurote, Assistant Professor of Finance - Sith received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business. His research focus includes empirical asset pricing and international finance.
Kenneth Njoroge, Assistant Professor of Accounting - Ken received his Ph.D. from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business. His areas of research include earnings quality, implications of fundamental analysis for future firm performance, the interfacing between macroeconomic conditions and financial reporting, the effect of product market competition on financial reporting and analysts' forecasts.
Recent Faculty Research
