Mr. Lillis is a founding partner of Castle Pines Capital, a provider of channel financing for the communications equipment industry. He is also a principal in private equity group Lone Tree Capital. He served as Chairman and CEO of MediaOne Group from its inception in 1995 through its acquisition by AT&T in 2000. Prior to MediaOne he held a variety of positions at U S West, GE, and DuPont. He has also served in several academic positions including Dean of the University of Colorado Business School.
Mr. Lillis is a member of the board of directors for SuperValu, Williams Companies, and Medco Health Solutions, and a trustee of The Lillis Foundation. He holds undergraduate and Master's degrees from the University of Washington and a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon. He and his wife Gwen live in Denver and Seattle and are parents of three children and grandparents of seven.
Mr. Eli Morgan Chairman and Chief Executive, 2030 Investors, LLC, Portland, OR Mr. Morgan co-founded M Financial Group and M Life Insurance Company in 1978, a national marketing and reinsurance organization with 105 offices, currently generating in excess of $1 billion in revenue. This organization specializes in executive compensation planning, as well as estate and business continuity planning for business owners and high net worth individuals. In 1996, he retired as President and CEO of M Financial Group.
In addition, Mr. Morgan was the founder of Management Compensation Group, Northwest and its predecessor, Resource Management Consultants. He served as President and CEO from 1963 through 1985. Currently, Mr. Morgan serves on the board of Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI) and the Providence/St. Vincent Medical Foundation Council of Trustees. Mr. Jim Rippey President, JFR Foundation, Portland, OR Jim Rippey grew up in Coos Bay, Oregon and graduated in 1953 from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. One of his professors steered him to New York University where he gained his Master's degree before going to work for Merrill Lynch on Wall Street. Upon completing Merrill Lynch's training program he returned to Oregon and, in 1962, founded Columbia Management Company with Jerry Inskeep. In 1967 Columbia offered Oregon's first mutual fund, the Columbia Growth Fund. What started as a two-man brokerage firm became the Pacific Northwest's largest money management company.
Jim retired as President in 1999 after Columbia Management was purchased by Fleet Bank (later Bank of America). Jim remains active in the community and with philanthropic endeavors.
