Financialmarkets and security investment decisions, analysis of risk and return,portfolio policies for individual and institutional investors,financial instruments. Pre-req: Major status and FIN 316. Also notethat this is a prerequisite for FIN 462 and FIN 473.

FIN 473 Financial Analysis and Valuation (4)
Topicsinclude working capital management, advance capital budgeting, dividendpolicy, financing policy, business valuation, and corporateacquisitions. Pre-req: FIN 316, FIN 380 and major status.

FIN 462 Derivative Markets and Financial Institutions (4)
Valuationof financial derivatives, methodologies for identifying firms’ riskexposures, the role of risk management and financial derivatives incorporate strategy, and analysis of financial institutions. Pre-req:FIN 380 or instructor’s consent.

FIN 463 International Finance (4)
Analysisof currency exchange rates, balance of payments; management of foreignexchange risk; risk and return in international investment. Pre-req:FIN 316 and major status.
