Entrepreneurship Students

Coming up with the idea is the easy part. The real entrepreneurial challenge begins with determining the idea’s feasibility, defining an implementable business model, and commanding the resources to turn a plan into a successful enterprise.

Venture-Quest.jpgThe Lundquist Center guides students through that process at the undergraduate, business minor and M.B.A. levels. With curriculum that embraces LCE’s philosophy of relevant, real-life educational experiences, a variety of courses are available to students, combining a foundation of business theory and principle with an array of hand-on experiences.

Key to this curriculm are the exceptional teaching, and staff and faculty at Lundquist Center. The LCE team includes experienced, accomplished entrepreneurs and instructors from around the country who embody the passion, dedication and excellence at the core of the center’s philosophy. In addition, the center has nationally recognized and committed tenured faculty at its core of innovation/entrepreneurship research and curriculum.

Bolstering the core course work are abundant real-world, live-fire experiences to students that give students the courage to expand their comfort zones; to share, present, and defend their ideas; and to explore a venture’s merit’s with honest and open feedback from an active and collaborative community of industry advisors, faculty, practicing entrepreneurs, and alumni.

Taken altogether, the LCE model has launched and supported dozens of successful ventures and cultivated a community of alumni and friends in the business community who serve as mentors and advisors, share their experiences as guest speakers, and participate in our Entrepreners on Campus program.
