REAL TIME engagement with industry, on all fronts...

Dynamic, Comprehensive, Collaborative

The securities and financial industry is complex and sophisticated. It takes hard work, perseverance, and real-world savvy to wrap one’s hands (and head) around the intricacies of financial analysis and to manage risk.

Created in partnership with industry, the University of Oregon’s Securities Analysis Center at the Lundquist College of Business provides students with the comprehensive and applied education necessary to lead and succeed in today’s multifaceted, ever-changing, and global financial markets--whether it be as a financial sector professional or the leader of a Fortune 100 company.

To deliver on this promise, the Securities Analysis Center offers a cutting-edge blend of accounting and finance that recognizes the global nature of today’s financial community and differences in cross-border analysis. At its core, the comprehensive curriculum combines rigorous academic preparation with the invaluable applied learning that can only come through a close collaboration with industry.

Our graduates go on to excel in careers in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, including positions in corporate finance, entrepreneurship, sustainable enterprise, asset management, accounting, investment banking, risk management, and alternative investing.
