People choose to pursue a Masters degree in Accounting for several reasons--whether you're entering directly after undergrad, or making a career change, LCB Career Services can help you reach your goals. 

Public Accounting

If your target employers are the Big Four accounting firms and their competitors (e.g., KPMG, Deloitte, Moss Adams), be aware that the major recruiting season is very early in the academic year.  The deadline to apply for full-time jobs that start after June 2010 is October 9, 2009.  We assist incoming MAcc students throughout the summer before they even start classes to prepare for this fast and hectic recruiting season.  Smaller public accounting firms continue to recruit new grads throuough the academic year, and we can help you maximize these opportunities as well.

Corporate Accounting and Finance

Many MAcc students choose to pursue careers outside of the grueling public accounting world.  If you're more interested in working for one company and investing your professional talents to helping it achieve its goals, corporate accounting is likely going to be a good fit for you.  Our corporate recruiters have included Intel, Fred Meyer, Regence, and many others.  The deadlines for these jobs occur throughout the year, and we can help connect you with these opportunities.
